Game 1:  Home vs. Livonia Churchill ( March 26th )

 

The bobcats came away with a victory through team hitting and solid pitching.   Paige Petrusha,  Alison Anderson,  Sam Lange and Jazz Lange each had 2 hits.  Megan Martin got the victory throwing 11 strikeouts in 4 innings including the first 9 batters.   Final score Bobcats 18-2.

 

 

Game 2:  Away vs.  Franklin.  April 10th

 

Megan Martin took the mound again and struck out 12 Patriots including the side in 3 straight innings. Megan gave up only 2 hits and no runs.    The offense was led by Kat Harburn, Paige Petrusha and Alison Anderson each with 2 hits in a 10-0 bobcat victory.

 

 

Game 3-4:  Home vs.  Novi. April 11th

 

First game the bobcats were helped with some walks and some timely hitting.   Everyone reached base and scored at least once.   Megan Martin gave up a walk to the first batter of the game then struck out 8 of the next 9 in route to a No-Hitter.    Final score bobcats 17-0.

 

Second game the bobcats bats exploded with 17 hits: including 2 each by Lilly Arnes, Laura Alvarez and Sam Lange.  3 hits by Jazz Lange ( including an inside the park homer ) 3 hits by Abby Whitt with an inside the park grand slam and 4 hits from Katie Ragsdale one clearing the fence just short of our new scoreboard.   Pitching was handled by Abby Whitt.  Abby also had a no-hitter, hitting a couple batters in the first inning allowing Novi to score their only run in a shorted game.  Final score bobcats 26-1.

 

 

Games 5-6:  Home vs. Brighton

 

Game 1:  Being tied 2-2 after 3 innings, the bobcat bats came alive scoring 6 runs in the 4th and 4 in the 5th innings in route to a 12-2 victory.  Rebecca Oetting had 2 hits and scored twice while Katie Ragsdale had 3 hits including her second home run of the season.   Megan Martin got the victory giving up six hits and striking out 6.  Bringing Megan to 4-0 for the season.

 

Game 2:  The Bobcats found themselves down 5-4 after 3 innings and after a spectacular play at second base by Allison Sheroski  the bobcats came to bat with renewed energy and scored 3 runs in the 4th, taking the lead 7-5.  The offense was lead by Annabelle Morningstar with 3 hits and Alison Anderson with 3 hits and 3 runs scored.  Abby Whitt retired 8 of the last 9 batters for her second win of the season, and a 6-0 record for Grand Blanc.
