Game Recap

A walk-off single led Grand Blanc Bobcats Varsity past Carman Ainsworth 3-2 on Thursday. Grand Blanc Bobcats Varsity trailed 2-1 in the bottom of the eighth inning when Durbin uncorked a wild pitch, scoring two runs.
The pitching was strong on both sides. hurlers for Grand Blanc Bobcats Varsity struck out eight, while Carman Ainsworth pitchers sat down two.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Grand Blanc Bobcats Varsity tied things up at one.
Nick Morales earned the win for Grand Blanc Bobcats Varsity. He threw three innings, giving up one run, two hits, striking out four, and walking one. Durbin took the loss for Carman Ainsworth. He went three and a third innings, allowing two runs, three hits, striking out one, and walking zero.
Gagnon started the game for Carman Ainsworth. He went four innings, surrendering zero runs, one hit, and striking out one. Lawson Bainbridge started the game for Grand Blanc Bobcats Varsity. He pitched five innings, allowing one run, four hits, striking out four, and walking one.
Daniel Heidenreich, Blake Olah, Joseph Messner, and Ryder Brotebeck each collected one hit to lead Grand Blanc Bobcats Varsity.

In game two the bobcats led 6-0 before the game was called for darkness. Sophomore Drew Kranz threw 3 innings allowing no hits and striking out 7. Sean Seaton had two hits for Grand Blanc.
