Waterford Kettering Girls defeated Grand Blanc Girls 18-12
Grand Blanc girls got off to a poor start losing both baker games by less than 10 pins or one spare. Kettering won 159-155 and 175 166. But GB girls stepped it up in the first regular game winning 941-906. The match would be decided by who was going to win the 2nd regular game. The match was was relatively close early but GB started missing some spares and Kettering pulled away to a 50 pin lead. But Captain Ashley Tomczak started stringing strikes and Clarissa Baldwin got a little momentum going and the two girls closed the gap to within 10 pins. But it wasn’t enough and Kettering held on for a 826-742 victory.
Grand Blanc was led by Ashley Tomczak 226-245, Clarissa Baldwin 201, Lizzy Peterson 201 and Haley Cochran 179
Waterford Kettering Boys defeated Grand Blanc Boys 26.5 – 3.5
Grand Blanc Boys were just out bowled this Sunday losing both baker games 204-178 and 190-185. In the regular games Kettering won 1065-926 & 979-952. It wasn’t that GB bowled poorly, just that Kettering had 2-3 bowlers each game bowl plus 225 games. GB also had 2-3 bowlers bowl 200 games but they were just low 200’s and outcome was in Kettering favor.
GB was led by Caeden Huner 204-201, Matt Miller 203-203 & Mason Coon 200
