It was a great night for softball.  Every night is a great night for softball.   It was a little breezy and a bit cool, but our players didn’t mind.   Abby Whitt took the mound for the Bobcats and gave up only 4 hits while striking out 4.   Makinna Hicks made a fantastic catch in right field for the third out in the first inning, prevent Waterford from scoring.  Then she came up in the first inning and lined a triple to the wall to score our second run of the inning.  The Bobcats got two more in the second, five runs in the third and 3 more in the 4th to win 13-0 over Waterford Mott.   The Bobcats had 16 hits by 9 different players led by Olivia Bainbridge with 3 hits, and Jordan Fryfogle, Kat Harburn, Gracie Murray and Abby Whitt each with 2.   That brings their record to 4-0 for the season.   Wednesday we will be at home for a double header against Pinckney.
