Grand Blanc Boys defeated Lakeland Boys 16-14

Solid comeback for the GB Boys after they got off to a poor start losing both baker games 210-170 & 154-143.  In the regular games they started their comeback with a 924-883 win.  GB Boys were led to victory by strong 9th & 10th frames from Drew Zatabvsky, Andrew Peterson and Captain Jaylin Barnett.  In the deciding game 2,  Jaylin Barnett struck out in the 10th to edge Lakeland 862-851.

GB Boys were led by Jaylin Barnett 259-189, Drew Zavatsky 190 & Andrew Peterson 184

Lakeland Girls defeated Grand Blanc Girls 23-7

GB Girls split the baker games against Lakeland winning 189-166 before losing 166-132.  Lakeland Girls really stepped it up winning both regular games 969-772 & 856-745.  Grand Blanc Girls just seemed to have no energy after a long week of final exams.  The exception was Clarissa Baldwin, who bowled extremely well rolling scores of 244 & 200.

Grand Blanc Boys defeated WLN Boys 16-14

Close match Sunday morning as WLN got off to 6-4 lead winning baker game 1 (187-161), then losing baker game 2 (182-171), but held on to the 2 points for totals.  In the regular game 1 GB bowled their high team game of the year easily winning 1084-927.  In regular game 2 GB lost 873-862 but kept total pinball out of reach and clinched the critical 2 extra points that won the match.

GB Boys were led by Drew Zavatsky 256-181,Andrew Peterson 225, Jaylin Barnett 22, Caeden Hunter 192 & Matt Miller 190

Grand Blanc Girls defeated WLN Girls

Not sure if it was finally getting one day of rest or bowling at home in front of family and friends, but the Grand Blanc Girls had their season most consistent performance. They tied baker game 1 (168-168) before edging WLN 165-161 in the second baker game.  In regular game 1, GB won 908-760 with solid performances from all 5 bowlers.  In regular game 2 GB won 889-810 with several very well thrown games multiple strings of strikes by Clarissa Baldwin and Ashley Tomczak.

 

GB Girls were led by Clarissa Baldwin 226-236, Ashley Tomczak 175-199,Haley Cochran 186 & Kailey Mize 170-166.
